What is GONE Fishing?
A 1-8 player co-op survival horror fishing game. You catch fish, sacrifice them at the lake altar to meet a daily quota, and survive whatever comes out at night. Released on Steam October 20, 2026.
Does GONE Fishing have multiplayer?
Yes. Steam lists 1-8 player online co-op, and gold is shared between players while line, rod and sinker upgrades stay personal to each player.
How many fish species are there?
The community species encyclopedia tracks 110 species, from a 0.5 lb Blue Gill to a 302,070 lb Megalodon, plus Legendary and Mythic tiers.
Are totems permanent?
Totems are bought from the trader and save with your run. They are a progression purchase, not a one-night consumable, and they can be upgraded later at the late-game trader.
Is GONE Fishing on PS5 or Xbox?
No console version has been announced. Steam lists Windows only, so PS5, Xbox and Switch players currently have no official way to play.
